Throughout the book, Jen suspected that it was Boo Radley was placing all the items in the knot hole and now it’s been blocked. Mr Nathan Radley told Jem and Scout that the tree was supposedly dying, however, what I think supports Jem’s idea is when Atticus says “ The tree is as healthy as you are, Jem. ” It could illustrate that Mr Nathan Radley is trying to stop Boo from attempting to communicate with everyone else.
