Why did I have to leave? Now I’m in the middle of this situation. Damn me. Damn Mother. Damn that god forsaken trash and it’s can. The Volkswagen Golf GTI was ditched a mile back, now we were driving a Ford Shelby gt500 for about 30 minutes. This car was much different than the Golf was, much different. The seats was mostly leather only the head rest was different, plus the leg room was larger in the Ford then the Golf. The dashboard lit up, there was a 7 gear box connected to a twin turbocharged engine, essentially this car had definitely had some money spent on it. It was a dream car. Samuel was driving and I kept looking backwards every so often, all I could see was trees, sand, more sand, and even more sand ” They’re not following us. I think.”

” What do you mean, You Think?!? ” Samuel asked.

“I mean that they were following us but right now they aren’t,” I explained.

” And ?”

I noticed the frustration within his voice and replied with a straight answer ” They are going to be trailing us soon, I think,” I said.

We both knew about Samuel’s anger, he was notorious for it. He was wearing dark, hoodless, leather Hollister jacket, underneath was a Ralph Lauren polo shirt, it had a diagonal 3 inch yellow stripe with red to it’s left and blue to it’s right, and slightly dark blue Louis Vuitton jeans with his favourite pair of golden-ish Jordan’s. I on the other hand was not quite as branded as Samuel was. A dark blue hoodie, a Hollister short sleeved shirt with dark blue jeans and a pair of Nike Air Forces, are what I was wearing. I glanced at my watch, Damn we don’t have a lot of time on our hands, I thought, it began to worry me.

” Samuel, how long until we get there? Because man I’ve got a terrible feeling ” I said.

” Seriously man chill! Relax! And you should seriously reduce the number of films you watch,” Samuel was right. I actually do watch a lot of films, but to me I think they do help. I like to be as observant as Liam Neeson in Taken or as tactical as Matt Damon in the Bourne Films.

” But anyway, we’ve got about five minutes left,”

Precisely five minutes later we arrived and the Cape York Peninsula was as deserted as the internet said it was. The massive building was in front of us, and it stood out as clear as an enormous splinter. Wow. Its such a cliché, I thought. The walls on the outside were rough and a yellowy colour, there was one circular window at the top, and a large rusty metallic door in the middle .We approached the door, I had checked my phone for a signal while Samuel had put on his glasses and pulled out what looked like a gun.

” Hey what the-F…! Is that a …?” I asked.

“Gun? Yeah,” Samuel finished and cracked a smile.

” Idiot, why are you smiling for? You got a FLIPPING GUN in your hand” I exclaimed.

” Yeah, and? So? What?” he replied carelessly.

“Oh My Holy God! May God give me the strength to sort out this dumb child out.” I prayed.

” Okay. Shut up. Lets go.” he said.

It look like we were in Bad Boys. The door was easy to unlock, this fact we ignored. We decided to split up, Samuel took the right and I took the left, we didn’t really know what to look for however it was common sense that we’d know what it was. There was an isle full of stuff, from metals to fabrics, the flashing lights above hung 7 meters off the ceiling and I couldn’t really see it, but you could probably just make out what was there. There weren’t many lights in what look like a warehouse, so I pulled out my torch and lit it up so I could see.

Beep

What was that? I looked around suddenly to find out where it came from. Another beep. I didn’t know whether it was me or not. Samuel shouted for me, we both could hear it. I couldn’t pinpoint the location of the beep, it was hard, the beep sounded like it came from every direction additionally what made it harder was the fact that it they were sporadic. The intervals kept changing.

Beep

Man it was annoying. For some reason every beep gave me some mini migraine, instantly something was wrong.

“Damn, holy crap.” I whispered to myself. I heard a clatter coming from Samuel’s direction, I headed towards his direction. ” Crap, something’s wrong. I can’t run. Samuel! Where are you?! Samuel?!?” I shouted as loud as I can but I could just here myself, he never replied. I suddenly slowed down, I couldn’t feel myself anymore but in knew I was moving. My vision became blurry, I felt dizzy, the bleeps made my thoughts sporadic . I turned the corner where Samuel had been, I found him slumped against the shelves. Everything was getting worse; my sight, my movement, my senses.

” Shhhiii….” I clumped to the ground. All I could see now was blackness, the darkness.
