My Seven Commandments.

  1. Everyone may do what they want, however there are boundaries
  2. Everyone has the right to stand up for what they believe is right and wrong
  3. There shall be the people’s rule only.
  4. Once every year there shall be ‘ The Purge ‘, however there has to be a reason for this.
  5. Fun should be more important than education
  6. Everyone shall get a degree in something which they desire
  7. EVERYONE shall answer toME!

    Hello Moniem,

    Your commandments clearly show some link to ‘Animal Farm’ and there are some interesting ideas here – ‘The Purge’ has very ominous overtones indeed.

    To develop this further, I can think of two suggestions:
    1) Write a brief commentary that explains your ideas and which of the commandments is most effective followed by your reasons why.
    2) This is a much more creative option: place your piece into a larger piece of creative writing. How do your seven commandments fit in? What would happen in the paragraph before and after the delivery of these commandments? Why? 1st or 3rd person? Why?
