Review

Following the number 1 hit in the Box Office, G.I.Joe The Rise of Cobra, the script writers assembled again and wrote the sequel to the the first G.I.Joe film. Rhett Reese and Paul Wernick also wrote the hit film, zombie comedy Zombieland. G.I.Joe Retaliation film has a plot of revenge, betrayal, and survival from the beginning until the end, the plot also contains action, from explosions and breakouts to mini chases and sword fights. The structure of the sequel isn’t as similar to the first like so many other films, it’s storyline it mostly different to the first film, The Rise of Cobra is not full of betrayal and survival, it’s more revenge and the cliche of ” taking over the world”.

Both films have their own way, they have different teams, more experience and less experience comrades, and more aggressive enemies. All this came from the Hasbro action figures, it’s amazing how the creative human mind could produce a hundred million dollar result. However there is some form of a downside, during the film there seem to be a random thought which paid off pretty well, it was a risk to be played and it ended up successful financially.

This film is action-packed and intense from top to bottom, it’s a class production from Paramount Pictures. Director John M. Chu and scriptwriters Reese and Wernick have must of wrote down another hit film fro the entertainment industry.

***** rated film.

    Moniem,

I like the way your sentences formed, complimenting each other. You have included a lot of information.

However this could have been presented in a more formal fashion, to suit a Movie Review.

I liked that you didn’t go into to much detail about the plot, but you could have given people who haven’t seen the first GI JOE some background.

All in all a great review, albeit some grammatical errors.

    Hello Moniem,

I really enjoyed ‘Zombieland’, it was completely gross and really very fun. I can see from this review that you have clearly thought about structure and how to best convey your meaning; I am pleased that this has happened and you should be too.

    Target:
Look at your third paragraph, there are some unfinished sentences here – you should edit this to be sure your meaning is clear – are there any words missing? Have you used a pronoun when you could have used a noun to make your meaning clearer?

    Thanks,

    Mr North
