RHEUMATICS – pertaining to or of the nature of rheumatism.

RUFFIAN – a tough, lawless person; roughneck; bully.

INDIGNATION – strong displeasure at something considered unjust, offensive, insulting, or base; righteous anger.

GABBLING – to speak or converse rapidly and unintelligibly; jabber.

BUCCANEER – any of the piratical adventurers who raided Spanish colonies and ships along the American coast in the second half of the 17th century.

EMBOLDENER – to make bold or bolder; hearten; encourage.

    Excellent collection of words. I read ‘Treasure Island’ again a few years ago, I still enjoyed it. What were your thoughts? How/when will you begin to use these words in sentences of your own?
